AntennaPod is an open-source podcast manager and player developed both for casual listeners and dedicated audio interview fans. The application is available on Android devices and supports automatic episode downloads, offline playback and streaming.
Subscribe
Users can follow millions of podcasts from around the world, either by searching within the built-in directories or by manually adding RSS feed URLs. New episodes are automatically updated and listed in relevant categories. Users can start streaming tracks instantly with a single tap.
As mentioned, there are flexible automatic download options that allow you to keep your favorite podcasts available even without an internet connection. You can save content over WiFi only, retain a specific number of recent files, or delete them after playback.
Playback
The app comes with variable playback speed, skip silence and sleep timer settings. You can skip forward or backward in set intervals, ideal for jumping through ads or repeating key parts. The integrated queue manager lets you reorder episodes on the fly, instead of downloading whole interviews.
Similar to Deezer, there you can create custom playback queues for uninterrupted listening across multiple podcasts. Finished episodes are tracked, and playback progress is saved automatically.
