Bloomz is an educational app for Android that connects teachers and students’ parents. It is possible to manage hometasks, monitor schedules and show portfolio’s to parents.
School home communication
Similar to Moodle, It is an online platform where teachers are able to manage their organizational tasks such as creating homeworks, notifying students about important events and so on. Parents on their turn can monitor their children’s activities at school including grades and make sure they do not skip any class.
There is a built-in calendar where you as a teacher can add updates and share this information with your students. Moreover, it is possible to create online classes and invite parents to see how their kids behave at class. The calls are secure and made on the platform without third party apps. To access the conference, you need to enter the link provided by the teacher.
Chat
Bloomz includes a messenger for communication between parents and teachers. You can share images, texts and videos. There are chats for both groups and individual interaction. The former is helpful when you would like to discuss plans on trips, holidays and other events.
