BT Sport VR is an Android application developed in collaboration with the telecom provider of the same name, well known in the UK. This tool offers users the opportunity to watch football matches in VR mode.

Please note that this service is only available for watching those games that are held in stadiums with installed 360° video cameras. This allows fans to view the match in progress from multiple vantage points. The utility was originally developed to watch the UEFA Champions League final.
Opportunities
BT Sports VR allows users to switch between 8 live cameras and change the observation angle accordingly. There is an automatic option that allows football fans to watch the best view at any time. In this case, there is no need to apply manual settings.
It is possible to watch 360° video in two modes – Cardboard and Smartphone. If you have a VR headset, you can select the first way for a complete immersion in virtual reality. The Smartphone option provides a 360° view by moving or rotating the mobile device.
Please note that to watch VR video live, you need a high-speed Internet connection – 10 megabits per second minimum. The developers recommend using a Wi-Fi network.
Remark
At the moment, the application is outdated and does not perform the stated functions. The developers stopped updating and supporting it.
