Drudge Report is an application for Android devices developed in collaboration with the web resource of the same name. Users get access to the content of a well-known US conservative news aggregator created by Matt Drudge.
Design and content
This application, like the website itself, has a simple, laconic design. The main page contains an extensive selection of headlines and links to various news resources, both American and foreign, for example, LA Times. The information is divided into three columns between which you can move using taps and swipes.
Hot breaking news headlines are highlighted in red. The main story of the day is located at the top of the screen above the links and is accompanied by a photo. This aggregator also publishes data from various surveys and exit polls. The information is located separately from the main news, in the upper left corner of the screen.
Opportunities
You can view only breaking news by clicking the bell icon. The application settings allow you to choose a dark mode that is more convenient for evening reading. It is also possible to choose which alerts you want to receive, for example, about the appearance of new headlines, banners, or highlighters. Push notifications are displayed on the smartphone’s main and lock screen as well. This way you will not miss the latest breaking news.
