The app shows a map of Portugal with icons indicating the location, status, and severity of fires. Users can zoom in and out, move around, and view more details about each emergency. There is important data such as the start time, the number of firefighters and vehicles involved, the type of terrain, as well as the source of the information.
It is possible to switch between different map styles, such as satellite, terrain, or hybrid, just like in Weather Channel. Moreover, there is a list of fires, sorted by proximity, severity, or recency. You can swipe left or right to see different categories, such as active, important, false alarms, or extinguished.
Notifications and statistics
There is an opportunity to receive notifications of fires in your district or county. You can choose the frequency, the sound, and the vibration of the alerts. In addition, the app provides statistics about the situation in Portugal for the current, previous, or the last 10 years. It is possible to compare data between different regions.
