GoLoud is an application for Android that provides access to national and local Irish radio stations as well as podcasts and music playlists.
Streams
Users can listen to a range of stations including Newstalk, Today FM, Off The Ball, 98FM, SPIN and Red FM. Live stream quality is adjustable with HD streaming options where available. A radio tab organizes channel access and provides current news, videos and show information. Playback continues even when the app is in the background or the screen is off, just like in Kerrang.
Libraries and curation
The app allows you to browse, subscribe to and download podcasts from Ireland and globally. It is possible to bookmark preferred stations or episodes for quick access later. A Library tab aggregates followed series in one location.
Moreover, you can explore curated music playlists organized by mood or occasion, created by music experts. Listening options include streaming directly or casting to external devices via Chromecast or Android Auto support. Thus, you are able to enjoy your favorite artists and albums on the road during long trips. The interface displays track details and works seamlessly with vehicle or speaker systems.
