Moasure is an application for Android devices that allows you to measure any object by moving your smartphone. The utility simplifies the process since you no longer need a tape, ruler or any other device.
Measuring objects
It is important to note that the app most accurately measures the length, perimeter, area and other indicators of objects at distances greater than two centimeters. You need to calibrate your smartphone’s accelerometer by placing the device stationary on several planes.
In addition, Moasure is based on reading and analyzing the accelerometer of your mobile phone. Using recorded acceleration logs, smart algorithms reconstruct the trajectory of the device in space and scale it to the selected measurement system.
How it works
The application automatically detects your smartphone model and its dimensions. If this step fails, you have to enter the data manually. It is necessary to clarify the possible error. You need to install the device on a horizontal plane, fix the position by pressing a button and move it to the other edge to determine the length or width of the object. The entire process is accompanied by interactive tips, which eliminates possible errors.
