MyKern is an application for Android that allows people of Kern County to report non-emergency issues and help the community.

The service is created by government authorities of California state and encourages the individuals who live in Kern County to report various public issues. It is possible to inform about damaged properties, contaminated soils on illegal areas, broken benches and other non-emergency incidents.
There is a section with questions and answers where you can monitor your requests and see if the necessary steps from administrative services are taken. Moreover, it is possible to call the authorities if the situation requires an urgent action.
How to submit requests
To access the interface, there is no need to sign up. However, if you would like to submit your request, a registration with an email account is required. Then you are able to provide detailed information about the issue you would like to report.
Moreover, it is possible to upload the picture for additional information. The application allows you to enter the exact location so that the authorities could find the place within a short period of time. Please note that you need to leave your contact details in case the service would like to have a talk with you about the problems you spot.
