Nrlm Vprp is an Android application that enables the Self-Help Group networks to prepare and submit their community demand plans. You can highlight the basic needs of your people.
Demand plans
This application is a platform made as part of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission in India. It is a poverty alleviation project of the Ministry of Rural Development. The idea behind this program is to organize the poor into Self Help Groups and make them capable of self-employment.
Nrlm Vprp allows the Self Help Group network within a village community to prepare and submit their collective demand plans. SHGs can identify and highlight the basic needs of the people they represent.
The plans prepared by SHGs can then be integrated into the GPDP. It enables coordination between the Gram Panchayat, as the local self-government institution, and the SHG network to address the community needs.
Discussions
The app plays a vital role in making the planning process fair and transparent. It provides a digital platform for SHGs and community members to engage in discussions. Thus, ensuring that decisions are made collectively. It also streamlines the documentation and monitoring of the plan.
