NYC Bus Time is an application for Android that helps New York visitors and residents track the movement of Metro Transportation Authority buses. It is possible to view the schedule and receive notifications about delays in real time.
General information
This utility operates with Metropolitan Transportation Authority or MTA buses. Users get access to schedules for 47 routes and 35 expresses in the five boroughs of New York such as Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx Queens, and Staten Island.
Routes and schedule
It is possible to search for transport by numbers and stops by special codes. In addition, you can track the arrival time of buses at the selected location online. The application saves your search history and allows you to view it. Thus, you may save time and not have to look for frequently used routes again.
Additionally, you can set the schedule auto-update interval, for example, 10, 30, 60 seconds, and so on. The utility sends you pop-up notifications when the bus you need arrives. The Alert Service section notifies you of breakdowns and delays in real-time mode.
