PlayMemories is an Android application for storing and sharing photos taken by Sony cameras. Users can connect their devices by scanning the QR code.
Media Management
One of key features here is managing photos and videos captured by the camera. You can open files on your mobile device and conveniently sort, share and edit them. It is possible to enhance the quality of images by applying filters and other visual effects. Once your projects are ready, you are able to directly post your pictures and clips on various platforms and messengers, including YouTube.
Moreover, the application allows you to remotely manage your camera using your phone. This means you are able to put the device to necessary places and take photos from interesting angles or distances.
Connect to camera
It is necessary to turn on Wi-Fi on your phone and scan the QR code on your camera. You need to position the code in the middle of the screen in order to connect both devices. Afterwards you have access to captured photos and videos.
It is worth noting that on 29 of February the application was shut down and replaced by Imaging Edge Mobile, its official predecessor by the same company.
