Power Sharing is an Android application developed by Samsung corporation for its smartphones. Users can transfer electrical power between mobile devices without having a charger or socket.
Compatibility
Similar to Theme Store, the utility is developed for certain brands smartphones, in this case, Samsung. Users need to have a special cable called EP-SG900 to establish connection between mobile devices and start charging. It is possible to buy this rope of wire on numerous retail stores including Amazon and Ebay.
Charging
Users can charge their smartphones with other mobile devices via the power sharing cable. Thus, it is possible to transfer battery life in case of emergency without needing a socket nearby. The application shows information on estimated time left for the process to complete.
There is an option to adjust the settings including how much power you need to share. The homepage shows a digital icon of the battery and its current energy level. Power Sharing includes the slide with which you can drag to the necessary point of this picture and calculate the estimated time to finish charging.
Please note that by transferring stored energy from one device to another, you consume the battery of the latter. Therefore, the application allows you to set limits on the amount of power to avoid the unexpected shutdown of the output phone.
