Speak Pacific is an Android application that provides you access to an educational resource. There is an option to access a brief introduction to Pacific language and culture.
Purpose
You can start basic learning of languages such as Rotuman, Samoan, Tokelauan, Tongan, Maori, Fijian and Niuean. All of them are directly related to Pacific culture, which in turn includes certain teachings. There is an option to view the introductory video in general context to gain understanding. Moreover, the application provides access to the Lord’s Prayer.
Furthermore, it is possible to include audio recordings to hear the pronunciation of each language, just like in Spelling Bee. This way you can understand the difference and learn to tell them apart. Speak Pacific regularly hosts events to share new words and phrases to improve your vocabulary.

There is an option to start learning from scratch and gradually practice with information exchange. The initial course is free for users. However, you can purchase the full version to become familiar with prayer concepts, environments, life events and ceremonies. It is possible to share information with friends, family and colleagues.
