Sunsynk is an application that allows you to monitor and control your inverter, which is a device that converts solar energy into electricity for your home or business. The utility is intended for the customers and installers of eponymous devices.
Statistics and settings
With this app, you can view various statistics about your energy generation, battery status, grid, and load. The environmental impact of your solar system is presented, such as how much CO2 you have saved or how many trees you have planted. It is possible to change the settings and parameters of your inverter. For approved installers, three are software updates and upgrades.
Please note that you can share your connection with your installer or others. This way, you can get help with any issues or configuration changes. If you are a UK resident, you can use the Live Price feature, which shows you the actual prices provided by Octopus Energy, a green energy supplier. You can then adjust your charge and discharge prices according to the market rates, and save money on your electricity bills.
Reports and notifications
The utility allows you to generate detailed reports and export them to a PDF file. Data are available for day, week, month, or year. You can choose any period you want. Sunsynk notifies you if there are any events, such as warnings, faults, or power outages. It is possible to set up custom alerts for specific conditions, such as low battery, high load, or grid failure.
