BriskLink USB 3 0 Display Adapter Driver is a Windows application that is necessary for connecting external HDMI displays to USB ports via an adapter. There is support for resolutions up to 2048×1152 pixels at 60Hz.
How it works
The first step is to set up the driver and restart the system to apply the changes. After that users can connect the external monitor to the adapter via HDMI cable. The other end has to be inserted into any free USB port in the computer.
Similar to Dell D3100 USB 3 0 Dock Driver, the program is backward compatible with the USB 2.0 specification. However, the maximum output resolution is limited to 1920×1080 when connected to a legacy port.
Advanced capabilities
You are able to extend or mirror the desktop to several displays. This functionality is helpful for using the external monitor as a second screen. There is support for audio output over HDMI as well. It is possible to dynamically rotate the display.
