3DP Chip is a Windows program that allows you to detect outdated drivers in the system. It is possible to quickly gather all information about the installed hardware components and copy it to the clipboard.
How it works
After starting the software users can view technical details about the CPU, graphics card, network adapter, multimedia devices and motherboard. Problematic and outdated items are marked with an exclamation point symbol.
You are able to download and install the latest versions of specific system drivers. Additionally, there is an option to copy detailed hardware information to the clipboard for troubleshooting purposes. A button for taking a screenshot of the main window is included as well.
It is worth mentioning that 3DP Chip has limited functionality compared to other similar applications such as Driver Talent. For example, users cannot find and update drivers for peripheral devices.
Backup
This application provides instruments for creating copies of installed system drivers before updating them. It is possible to restore previous versions in case of hardware conflicts or other technical issues.
