Advanced Renamer is a Windows software for managing and organizing personal files on the hard drive. Users are able to replace specific text patterns with new strings and remove unwanted characters from selected filenames. Please note that the free trial version of Advanced Renamer has limited functionality.
Renaming parameters
After starting the utility you can add new files to the queue by dragging and dropping them into the workspace. The list is sortable by name, path and other attributes for easier search.
Like in Teracopy, it is possible to configure complex renaming rules and save several personal profiles for different purposes. There are instruments for inserting symbols at specified positions. Moreover, users are able to automatically convert lowercase letters to uppercase characters and vice versa.
An option to add sequential numbers to filenames is included. You can employ regular programming expressions to perform advanced operations as well.
Preview and customization
Users are able to visualize new filenames to ensure accuracy and prevent unexpected outcomes. Additionally, tools for adjusting multiple settings like the renaming order, file filters and error handling behavior are provided.
