Allok AVI to DVD SVCD VCD Converter is a Windows utility for transforming video clips and movies from one format to another. The main purpose of the program is generating DVD compatible files. It is important to note that the free trial version of Allok AVI to DVD SVCD VCD Converter encodes only a half of the source clip.
Conversion process
The first step is to import original files by dragging and dropping them into the workspace. Alternatively, there is a button for adding new items. The list is sortable by name, resolution, duration and status.
Similar to Miro Video Converter, users can change the output folder and format. Available options include DVD Video files, MPEG1, MPEG2, VCD and SVCD. Additionally, drop down menus for adjusting the resulting video and audio quality are provided. The disc label, target TV type and aspect ratio are customizable as well.
Parameters
You are able to choose the required video decoding engine in the Settings menu. Moreover, there is an option to limit CPU usage to free up system resources for other tasks during conversion. A checkbox for automatically shutting down the computer when the operation is finished is included.
