Alpemix is a Windows tool that lets you connect to remote PCs and control them from anywhere. It is possible to adjust the input screen resolution to match the local display. Additionally, there are tools for transferring files to and from the target computer.
Connection instructions
Similar to Remote Desktop, the application needs to be installed on both devices. Hosts can send the automatically generated ID and password to the client for quick connection. It is important to not share account credentials with unknown parties to avoid data leaks, scam attempts and external attacks.
Users are able to configure advanced proxy parameters like the address, port, name and password. Moreover, there is an option to reroute all traffic through the official Alpemix server.
Remote control
You can change the screen area that will be shared with the remote operator. This functionality is helpful for masking sensitive information during the session.
Tools for adjusting the remote display resolution to better fit the monitor are included. Users are able to configure the automatic sharing of hotkeys and clipboard contents as well.
