ApowerMirror is a Windows utility that allows users to stream the contents of a mobile display to the computer. Similar to Vysor, there is support for a wide range of modern smartphones and tablets. Please note that the free trial version of ApowerMirror has limited capabilities.
How to use
It is necessary to install the corresponding application to the mobile device before establishing a connection. The next step is to open the desktop program, select the required operation and follow simple on screen instructions. Available options include mirroring the screen of an Android or iOS smartphone. Moreover, you can stream the contents of a PC display to a compatible smart TV.
After connecting the device via USB or WiFi users are able to view movies, photos, text messages and other content from the mobile device on a larger display. There is fullscreen mode.
Instruments for transferring files to and from the connected smartphone are included. You can back up personal photos, video clips, text documents and other files to the hard drive.
Limitations
iOS smartphones and tablets cannot be controlled remotely. This means that users will not be able to make changes to the mobile operating system settings, play games or work with third party apps. However, it is possible to interact with modern Android devices and operate them from the computer.
