Argus Monitor is a Windows program known for its monitoring options. Just like in Portable HWMonitor, here users can view the performance of hardware components in real-time.
Detailed display
The software displays the current status of CPU, RAM, GPU, hard drives and SSD equipped in desktops and laptops. Users are able to keep track of all processes in real-time to make sure the computer operates correctly, without any issues. In addition, it is possible to view motherboard sensors.
There is an option to monitor key metrics in the taskbar. You can open a tab with hidden icons to look at the temperature of vital components. It is possible to find an optimal level of hotness thanks to color measurements. If the shade is red, your computer is performing intensively and it is better to cool the devices to avoid potential crashes.
S.M.A.R.T
One of key features in Argus is a unique analysis system that allows you to assess the health of your drives, both HDDs and SDDs. The application allows you to detect latent failures before they appear on the surface. The section shows various data including critical warning, available reserved space, units read and written, controller busy time and power cycles.
