Arturia Storm is a Windows utility designed for both beginners and experienced musicians who want to create electronic music in various genres. Users can configure a custom virtual rack for configuring multiple audio parameters. It is worth mentioning that Arturia Storm is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
Included modules
There is a powerful wavetable synthesizer called Orpheus. It can produce rich and complex sounds, from pads and leads to textures and soundscapes. You are able to tune the audio by adjusting two oscillators with 128 waveforms each. A multimode filter, two envelopes, LFOs and modulation matrix are available as well.
The Bass 808 module is intended for faithfully emulating the legendary Roland TR808 bass drum. Similar to Bitwig Studio, additional features such as tuning, decay, tone and drive are included. Users can produce punchy and fat kicks for any genre of electronic music.
You are able to create acid and techno bass lines using the Arsenic plugin. It is a clone of TR303 with a resonant filter, accent control, distortion effect, four oscillators and a dynamic waveform display.
Synthesizer
Users can generate warm and organic sounds by utilizing the polyphonic analog synthesizer called Phenix. It provides a ring modulator, mixer section with feedback control, low-pass filter and two ADSR envelopes – one for filter and one for amplitude.
