AukZip is a Windows application for working with various types of archives. There is support for several common compression methods. Users can split large packages into smaller files for easier management and transfer. Please note that the free trial version of AukZip has limited functionality.
Compression and extraction
The main purpose of this program is helping you to create archives. Supported input and output formats include ZIP, 7Z, RARm ISO, LZH, VMDK, etc. It is possible to select the desired compression level to find the right balance between long processing time and small resulting filesize.
Similar to Bandizip, instruments for extracting data from existing packages are included. Users can preview some types of files beforehand. There is an option to unlock encrypted archives by entering the correct password as well.
Advanced capabilities
You are able to generate self extracting packages. These files can be opened on any modern computer without installing additional software. Moreover, batch processing tools for quickly managing multiple archives are provided.
Users can split the resulting file into several volumes of predefined size. This is helpful for transferring large amounts of information over the network.
