Battery Bar is a Windows application for keeping track of laptop batteries. It accurately displays the charge percentage and current status of the accumulator. Please note that the free trial version of Battery Bar will expire 30 days after activation.
Battery monitoring
After starting the program users can view the remaining charge level on a new taskbar icon. The A/C symbol is displayed instead when the laptop is connected to the wall.
Like in HWMonitor, you are able to set custom thresholds for the low and critical battery level warning. It is possible to show visual notifications and play audio alerts. Additionally, there is an option to run any executable file when the charge reaches a certain level. Tools for adjusting the visual appearance of the tray icon are included as well.
This software is self learning and gives progressively more accurate estimates of the remaining battery level over time.
Power schemes
Several predefined profiles such as balanced and high performance are included. Users can configure the behavior of the battery depending on whether or not the laptop is plugged into the power outlet.
