BiglyBT is a WIndows program for downloading multimedia files from the internet via the torrent protocol. It is an open source project based on the popular Azureus p2p client. Users are able to easily manage thousands of torrents at the same time.
Interface
The main window contains the list of active and finished downloading jobs. You can sort the torrents by name, progress, size, current speed, estimated completion time, rating and other attributes. It is possible to manually configure the columns to better fit your needs.
Like in qBittorrent, users are able to import new torrent files or paste Magnet links to add new downloading tasks. There is an option to limit the connection speed to free up the bandwidth for other programs.
You can add custom notifications for updated torrents. This feature is helpful for receiving alerts when a new episode of a TV show is released.
Preferences
Flexible network parameters are provided. Users are able to specify proxy server settings and enable traffic encryption. The amount of maximum concurrent downloading jobs is customizable as well.
There is support for third party plugins for expanding basic functionality. You can activate or disable individual extensions in the Settings menu.
