Bixby is a Windows software for integrating an AI personal assistant into the operating system. There is support for select portable computers manufactured by Samsung. Users can press the dedicated key combination on the laptop or say a predefined phrase to wake up Bixby.
Main functionality
Similar to Braina, there is a wide variety of possible actions that can be performed via the AI assistant. For example, you are able to launch third party programs, automatically convert text to speech and set custom notifications.
Bixby is optimized for Samsung Galaxy Book line of products. All laptops manufactured after January 2022 are supported by default. Users can view the list of older compatible devices in the official webstore.
Additional voice commands
You are able to search information on the hard drive or on the internet by speaking with the AI assistant. Instruments for checking the weather forecast and displaying the current time in different locations around the world are provided as well.
It is possible to remotely control various devices with the voice. The only requirement is that they should already be registered in the SmartThings network. Certain functions are not supported in some countries.
