Browsec VPN is a Windows plugin for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and other common browsers. It allows users to hide the real IP address and location online.
Main purpose
This extension is intended for ensuring anonymity during web browsing. There are instruments for connecting to a remote server to reroute all incoming and outgoing traffic. A large collection of encrypted locations all around the world is available.
Similar to PureVPN, you can bypass various network limitations by masking the IP address. It is possible to visit regionally restricted websites and services. Please note that the free version of Browsec has limited capabilities.
Server selection
After installing the plugin users are able to choose the remote location for connection. Servers in the Netherlands, Singapore, United States, Australia and many other countries are provided. There is a current network speed indicator alongside every option.
Preferences
Tools for adding domains to the whitelist are included. Such resources are accessed without Browsec and will be able to detect your real IP address. This functionality is helpful for visiting websites that do not allow VPN connections
