Camo is a program for Windows that enables you to forward your video and audio to your desktop. Once installed, you have the ability to view detailed information about connectivity options and how you can configure your mobile device.
Setup
Please note that the software has to be installed on both your computer and smartphone. After you do so for your Android device, you have to toggle the Developer mode and pick the USB debugging option. Alternatively, your mobile phone might display a notification screen that asks you about connectivity.
Following the aforementioned steps, your smartphone and PC will be able to communicate and transmit data. It is also necessary to point out that the interaction between devices is performed via USB or USB-C cable and not Wi-Fi. This is done due to security reasons and possible pairing complications.
Functionality
When it comes to main functions, you can see the desktop preview of your mobile screen. By navigating to the Camera Settings, you have the option to view the current battery level of your smartphone, as well as the focus point and the frame rate of your in-built camera.
The Post processing window enables you to apply a preset or custom watermark, or remove it from your video. Additionally, the tool offers features for mirroring your media content or changing its rotation and zoom depth. If you want to record your clips to optical discs, you may try another app called TotalMedia Extreme.
