CEMU is a robust program for Windows that emulates the game console environment of the Wii U. Similar to Yuzu, you are able to run titles released for the aforementioned system from Nintendo on your personal computer. Moreover, you have the option to change the controls.
System requirements
In order to run the emulator, you need a PC with a 64-bit operating system, a processor with support for AVX2 and a video card with OpenGL 4.5 or higher drivers. It is also recommended to ensure you have enough RAM and free hard drive space.
Installation and launch
To install the software, you have to download the archive and extract its contents to the chosen directory. The next step is to specify the path to the ROM file, select emulation settings and set up your control devices.
The project adds a number of features not present in the original game releases, such as 4K resolution, increased frame rate, improved graphics, and support for various controller models. It is also possible to use a keyboard or Wii U gamepad to control the gameplay.
The utility offers the capabilities to launch such games as Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart 8, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and others without the need to purchase a Wii U console. Please note that some titles may not run correctly.
