Cisco CP Express is a Windows utility that contains instruments for working with professional Cisco routers. Users are able to monitor the status and performance of every active network interface.
Router configuration
After logging into the web administrative panel you can adjust various device parameters like hostname, IP address, DNS, DHCP and time. Moreover, it is possible to connect to the internet using different WAN technologies such as DSL, Ethernet or 3G/4G.
Users are able to set up a wireless network with advanced security and guest access. Multiple VoIP services are provided as well.
Please note that Cisco CP Express is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available. You can download other applications for managing Cisco devices like Cisco DNA Center.
Monitoring
There is an option to keep track of all network interfaces in real time. You can evaluate the performance of individual ports and troubleshoot connection issues with the help of integrated troubleshooting tools. Additionally, the program logs all activity to a separate text file for further analysis.
Instruments for updating internal firmware on Cisco routers are included. Users are able to backup and restore configuration profiles.
