If you want to remotely shutdown computers in a LAN setting, you may try a special tool called LanShutDown.
Session management
The program gives you advanced session management capabilities, so you are able to organize and streamline your remote connections efficiently. It is possible to create session profiles with specific settings for different hosts.
Additionally, there is an option to save and manage bookmarks, simplifying the process of accessing frequently used systems. Please note that the application is no longer supported by the development team as it was superseded by a modern software solution called SecureCRT.
