DW Spectrum is a Windows utility for viewing live feeds from IP cameras. Users are able to record the output from individual sources to the hard drive for further analysis. It is possible to remotely control compatible security devices as well.
Monitoring
After starting the application you are prompted to connect to the surveillance server. It is necessary to specify the host address, communication port, login and password.
Users can detect and add new devices to the list. The live feed grid structure is fully customizable.
Some security cameras support the PTZ technology. They can be moved remotely by clicking the corresponding buttons in the main window. Additionally, you are able to zoom in and out.
Recording options
Similar to Yoosee, there are tools for capturing output from any connected camera. Users can adjust the resolution and recording quality. Moreover, it is possible to change the default target location for video files.
Notifications
This program lets you enable alerts about various types of security events such as detected motion, server start, license issue, fan error, camera address conflict, etc. This functionality is helpful for keeping track of the surveillance system at all times.
