eDrawings Viewer is an intuitive program for Windows which gives you means for viewing, printing and converting 2D and 3D CAD models. It is intended for general use and does not require additional software like AutoCAD 360 nor advanced technical skills.
General notes
The application comes with support for a wide range of CAD formats, including SolidWorks proprietary extensions such as SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDWR, ASMDOT, DRWDOT, as well as STL, DXF and DWG. Thus, you are able to import and work with different types of content.
When it comes to visualization controls, you can explore any CAD drawings by zooming in and out, panning, switching between perspectives and views. Please note that 3D models may be dynamically visualized, enabling you to inspect each detail, in an animated rotation movement.
Custom views and validation
It is necessary to point out that you can rearrange individual views to fit your preferences, regardless of their original order. Thanks to the 3D pointer feature, it is possible to identify and match geometry inside multiple drawing views.
The utility allows you to validate your models, assessing whether they are ready for the manufacturing process. In addition, you have the option to convert CAD drawing to other formats like ZIP, EXE, BMP, JPG, PNG, and GIF.
