Elgato Wave Link is a Windows software that provides a digital audio mixer. It is compatible with various types of input devices from Elgato and other manufacturers. You can adjust volume separately for every channel.
Interface
The main window contains the list of all connected audio input devices. There are sliders for manually tuning the volume and gain levels. It is easy to mix sound from the microphone, music player, video game and other sources. Additionally, users can mute individual channels.
Active output devices are listed at the bottom of the interface. You are able to select the correct hardware model from the drop down menu to configure its properties.
Audio effects
Like in Fruity Loops, it is possible to enhance the sound by suppressing the extra noise, compressing the stream and tuning individual frequencies in the embedded equalizer. Moreover, there are tools for creating custom effects with the help of the integrated scripting language.
An option to generate several audio profiles for different scenarios is included. This functionality is helpful for quickly switching between apps.
