EPSON Copy Utility is a Windows software for creating copies of paper documents using a printer and scanner from Epson. There are instruments for enlarging source pages and adjusting various properties of output images to improve their quality.
How it works
It is necessary to install system drivers for all Epson devices beforehand. After that users can start the program and select the correct scanner and printer from drop down menus. The next step is to specify the type of the source document and output paper size. The number of copies and resulting scale are adjustable as well.
Like in Epson Film Factory, there are sliders for tuning the brightness and contrast to increase the readability of the output text. Moreover, checkboxes for automatically restoring colors and removing dust particles are included.
Additional capabilities
This program supports the advanced document feeder for quick scanning of multiple pages. Users can easily organize and manage resulting files. Instruments for sharing scanned text documents via email, FTP or cloud storage service are provided. There is an option to automatically convert scanned pages to editable form with the help of the embedded optical character recognition module as well.
