Everdo is a Windows productivity program built around the Getting Things Done framework, enabling detailed task and project management. The hub provides structured lists for projects, next actions, waiting items and scheduled tasks.
Structure
Users can organize work into projects, single actions and recurring tasks. Jobs may contain multiple related actions, each with individual notes, checklists and deadlines. There are tags with custom labels to allow for flexible grouping and retrieval.
The app lets you assign contexts to tasks, representing tools, places or people required to complete them. Areas of responsibility group related projects and actions under broader life or work categories. You can achieve efficient categorization and navigation between related items.
Waiting
The scheduling technology enables activities to be hidden until a specific date, keeping current views uncluttered. Tasks placed on the Waiting list track actions delegated to others, with the option to set reminders for follow-up. Items on this section automatically reappear in relevant lists when their date or status changes.
Features
- there is a checklist for breaking tasks down into smaller, manageable steps;
- supports synchronization across macOS, Linux, Android and iOS devices, just like Superlist;
- actions are operated entirely offline by default, with all data stored locally;
- free to download and use;
- compatible with modern Windows versions.
