FastStone MaxView is a simple program for Windows with which you are able to view images as well as customize them to suit your preferences. It is necessary to point out that due to its straightforward workflow, the utility may be used by individuals of any experience level.
Overview
The application comes equipped with a clean and intuitive graphical interface. It is possible to import photos by using either the file browser or drag and drop method. Unfortunately, batch processing is not available.
When it comes to editing features, you can rotate, flip, resize and crop pictures. There is also the ability to adjust the lighting, shadows, contrast, and saturation. Similar to Honeyview, you have the option to apply various filters, toggle full screen mode, produce slideshows, move and delete items, and much more.
Configuration and performance
The Settings area is reserved for confirmation on overwriting files, toggling support for multiple instances and automatically rotating photos according to their EXIF information. In addition, you can adjust the JPG quality and make file associations.
The software requires a moderate amount of system resources to function properly, support multiple keyboard shortcuts, and includes a help file. What is more, it has a good response time and did not freeze, stutter or crash during our tests.
