FontExpert is a Windows program developed by Proxima Software for professionals and enthusiasts to preview, organize and maintain their font collections.
Folders
It is possible to build a searchable font library by indexing both installed system fonts and those stored in user‑defined folders, even across external or network drives. Users can attach any directory to the collection without moving or duplicating files, preserving original storage structure while enabling full indexing. Quick search and filter tools make it fast to locate typefaces by name, keyword tags, ratings or categories.
Compare
Every font can be previewed in multiple formats, including paragraph or character‑map ones. Custom sample text, size, color and orientation are provided to help you evaluate typefaces in realistic context. Corrupted or duplicate packs are flagged automatically, while a detailed inspection panel shows properties such as foundry, kerning pairs.
Activation and deactivation of fonts on demand is simple, and does not require folder manipulation. You can move and sort your packs with ease as well as add them on other productivity apps like Google Docs.
