Franz is a program for Windows that provides access to a messaging aggregator where users can browse multiple chat and communication services.
Hub
It is possible to add services by selecting them from a directory and logging in, creating multiple tabs side by side. Each section functions as though the app were running natively, with real-time message syncing. Switching between chat platforms becomes seamless, without juggling multiple windows.
There are unified notification settings, letting you pause alerts or mute specific services. You can configure whether a messenger’s tray icon flashes, displays badges or plays sounds. It is possible to set the status globally or per utility.
Workspace
Moreover, you are able to group services into workspaces so that related chat tools stay together. For example, a Work hub might contain more business oriented messengers such as Slack and Teams, while a Personal one workspace WhatsApp and Telegram. There is an option to toggle or hide your compilations based on context. And last but not least, it is possible to create a list of favorites for quick access. There are filters and tags which help you enhance navigation.
