GoldenEye Setup Editor is a Windows utility that allows users to create modifications for the classic GoldenEye video game. There are instruments for editing mission briefings and building new levels. Additionally, an option to adjust advanced gameplay parameters is provided.
Modification process
It is necessary to import the original BIN file to begin editing the game. You can add custom intro scenes, objects, character models, animations, weapon types and other content to the project.
Like in fx ES PLUS Emulator, users are able to convert hex values to decimals and vice versa. Moreover, it is possible to transform MIDI audio tracks to the format compatible with GoldenEye 007.
Visual Editor
This section is intended for previewing modifications. You can rotate the camera, toggle high resolution textures and create new portals. Instruments for rendering light sources, paths, decoration sets, character models, weapons and other gameplay elements are included. There is an option to switch between the perspective and orthographic views.
