Google Cloud Print is a Windows web application that contains instruments for working with printers remotely. Users are able to check the current ink levels, configure the printing quality and perform other common tasks. Please note that Google Cloud Print is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. All its main features are integrated into the modern versions of Chromebook OS by default.
Printer registration
It is necessary to connect the device with the personal Google Cloud Print account to enable remote operations. After that you can authenticate on another computer and interact with the printer over the network.
Main capabilities
Users are able to send printing jobs from any third party app such as Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc. There is an option to share access to printers with other Google accounts as well.
Instruments for tuning the printing quality, paper size, margins and other parameters are included. You can manage the task queue by rearranging or deleting individual items.
A mobile version of Google Cloud Print for sending documents and images to the printer from a smartphone or tablet is provided. Users are able to install the app on devices from any manufacturer.
