Google Tasks is a Windows online service for managing personal or business tasks. Like in TickTick, users are able to create lists with multiple goals and mark individual items upon completion. It is possible to set custom deadlines as well. Please note that the free version of Google Tasks provides limited capabilities.
Task creation
After opening the main dashboard you can add a new entry by clicking the corresponding button. It is possible to assign custom labels and specify the date for every individual item. Moreover, there are tools for attaching photos, audio tracks and other media files from the Google Disk cloud storage service.
Users are able to add subtasks, duplicate entries and automatically sort the content by various attributes. There is an option to create several virtual boards with different task lists and quickly switch between them. This functionality is helpful for managing multiple projects at the same time.
Settings
You can enable dark mode to reduce eye strain. The start day of the week is customizable. There are options for hiding the task counter and muting sound effects. A button for switching between the horizontal and vertical views is included as well.
