GoToAssist is a Windows tool for establishing a connection between your computer and a remote machine. There is support for systems with multiple displays. Please note that the free version of GoToAssist has limited functionality.
How to use
The first step is to create an account on the official website and enter personal credentials into the corresponding text fields in the main window. After that users can allow remote access to their computer by sending another person an automatically generated keyphrase.
Screen sharing and file transfers
Like in Remote Desktop, it is possible to view and control other devices over the network. Instruments for drawing on the screen, highlighting important sections and leaving text annotations are included. This is helpful for precise guidance and quick issue identification. Moreover, there is an option to exchange instant messages with the client to further improve communications.
This program lets you transfer files from a remote PC by directly dragging and dropping them onto the desktop. This eliminates the need for third party cloud services to exchange important documents, photos, videos, etc.
