HEIC Image Viewer is a Windows software that is able to display content in the modern HEIC format in original quality. There is an option to set the utility as the default viewer for all types of photos as well.
Viewing options
After starting the program users can open a new picture by dragging and dropping it into the main workspace. It is possible to view images in multiple common file formats. Additionally, there are buttons for jumping to the previous or next file in the current directory. This functionality is helpful for effortlessly navigating large media archives.
Like in LUMIX Simple Viewer, you are able to zoom in and out of the photo to study small details. Moreover, tools for rotating the image clockwise or counterclockwise are provided. There is an option to toggle fullscreen mode as well.
File associations
The Settings menu allows users to configure which types of pictures will be opened in HEIC Image Viewer by default. Supported extensions include GIF, AVIF, BMP, JPS, PNG, WMF, WEBP and many other popular file types. It is easy to quickly select only recommended options by clicking the corresponding button.
