HeroForge is a Windows program for generating playable Dungeons and Dragons characters. You can select the required race and class as well as assign custom skills and abilities. All modifiers and bonuses are calculated automatically.
Character creation
The provided Excel spreadsheet contains information from the official Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual and a wide range of third party sources. This ensures that all characters are playable and adhere to the main game rules.
Users are able to choose different starting equipment items for each hero. Additionally, it is possible to configure attack and defensive spells. After finishing the character creation process all relevant modifiers, ability scores, feats and other parameters will be calculated automatically.
Advanced options
There are tools for managing your heroes throughout their adventures. For example, the level up tracker can be used to estimate how much experience is necessary to open new class skills. Moreover, you are able to organize magic spells and prepare them for the next game day.
