ImGRader Similarity Detector is a small program for Windows that, similar to Jscript, works within the Java environment. Users, especially photographers, can check the disks for duplicate pictures and get rid of them to optimize the performance of their computers.
Customizable search
Being a modern tool, it provides a set of filters integrated to simplify the process of identifying similar images in necessary directories. For example, users are able to define how closely pictures have to be similar to each other. Moreover, it is possible to set the date ranges, file sizes and specific folders.
The application is capable of looking for a wide range of images starting from PEG, PNG all the way through to BMP, GIF, TIFF. There is an option to delete all duplicates except certain ones selected in the settings. Users can also go to statistics and check the number of complete scans, similarity groups, max allowed images in DB.
Privileges
It is worth noting that important folders and partitions in the drives and disks require administrator rights to be searched. You can not browse any directory from available ones to check for duplicates. To do so, it is necessary to open and adjust settings.
