JJSplit is an application for Windows that works on Java environments. Users can split and merge large files for various purposes.
Splitting
It is possible to take any file on a Windows system and divide it into several parts for convenient distribution, transferring and storing. Users can adjust the settings before splitting components. There is an option to specify the exact size of each segment and choose the destination folder where they are to be saved.
The application provides titles for your files to identify the parts in correct order if you would like to combine them together later. This option also allows you to keep track of your segments and see if all of them were split properly.
Please note, that similar to RipMe, you need to have Java software installed on your computer to run JJSplit. The splitter works on a well-known programming language and does not need setup procedure to perform its tasks.
Joining
There is an option to reassemble the splitted components back to recreate the original file. To do this, you also have to select segments and set the output directory. Please note that to complete a successful merge, all parts are required to be intact.
