JungleFlasher is a Windows application for flashing new firmware onto Xbox 360 DVD drives. Users can view detailed information about connected devices as well as set custom writing and reading speeds.
How it works
After starting the program you are prompted to open the BIN file by clicking the corresponding button. The vendor, drive model, revision and firmware type will be automatically displayed in the main window.
The next step is to extract the DVD key from the drive and save it separately. It is necessary for connecting the device to the console after flashing. There is a user guide and other helpful documentation in the main app folder.
Other utilities for interacting with Xbox 360 gaming consoles such as Xbox 360 Content Manager are available for download.
Additional capabilities
The MTK Flash 32 tab contains instruments for unlocking various hardware models from Benq, Samsung, LiteOn and Hitachi. Optical drives from Xbox 360 Slim are supported as well. Users can read, erase and write firmware files.
Advanced options like changing the drive revision, automatically spoofing existing firmware and setting a new checksum are provided. Moreover, you are able to switch between different file transfer methods.
