KYOCERA Print Center is a convenient program for Windows that allows you to operate KYOCERA printers that share a network connection with your computer. It comes with advanced features for scanning documents, capturing images, and extracting text using OCR. Alternatively, you may try a similar utility called Kyocera Net Admin.
Overview
After launch, you are greeted with a well-organized graphical interface where you can access all available functions via special icons, namely Scan, Camera, Templates, and Devices. The homepage also presents a list of recently processed files.
You can begin scanning by pressing the corresponding option. The next step is to select a Workflow with preset options before connecting to the device. To initiate a scan, click Scan to connect the selected equipment and start the process.
Advanced print settings and OCR
When you print from any application via a supported KYOCERA printer, you are able to access advanced print settings. Selecting a device opens a simple interface, while choosing the More settings option, enables you to tweak complex parameters.
In order to recognize text from digital images, you need to click on the Camera page. After you take a photograph, the snapshot will appear on the screen. You can select source language from the menu as well as make desired corrections.
