LaunchBox is a Windows program for combining all your video games into a coherent library with powerful tagging and filtering capabilities. It is possible to add various popular emulators like Dolphin to the catalog as well.
Collection
After starting the software for the first time it will automatically scan the system to detect installed games. Alternatively, users can manually add new titles via the main menu. Each item in the library contains several screenshots and a short description. Information about the genre, developer, publisher, release date and rating is included as well.
You are able to search for specific games by name or filter the content by many other parameters. Moreover, there is an option to view titles installed on other local computers. It is possible to quickly launch any item by clicking its thumbnail in the main window.
Big Box
Users can control LaunchBox with a wireless controller in Big Box mode, transforming the PC into a console. This functionality is helpful for playing games on a large TV screen.
